Question: Confused about weight loss/dessert/calorie intake?

Why do people say that you should not eat sweets/ dessert when trying to lose weight? i thought the whole point of losing weight the healthy way was exersing, eating less/ healthy, and eat dessert. i thought you only had to watch your calorie intake. so if u still have room for calories cant u eat dessert when trying to lose weight?? |

If you eat dessert try and eat it not right before bed and stick with something small and light. A small scoup of light lowfat icecream, or a small piece of angel food cake with strawberries and a little whip cream. This is still healthy because its smaller portions and you dont want to completely stop eating dessert that no way of life. Just becareful what you indulge in. I just saw these petite brownies at the store the size of a 50 cent piece and there was 130 calories and 3grams of fat in just one! so goodluck with your diet, go ahead and have a little piece of chocolate if you want. |

Anything your body eats in excess will be stored as fat. so, if you eat lots of carbs from a meal everything from the dessert will be stored as fat. |
